Alliance in Partnership sees hot school meal take up soar at new contract
Education caterer Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has seen hot meal take up soar by 45% since taking over the school dinners service at the Disraeli School and Children's Centre two months ago.
AiP commenced the new contract, worth £120,000, after the Easter break for an initial annual trial. Food is delivered daily from the neighbouring Cressex Community high school hub kitchen in High Wycombe, making this the third satellite school to be serviced this way.
"We entered into a partnership with AiP as we had heard about the excellent quality of menu choice for the children," explains head teacher Mrs Virk.
"We have achieved the Bronze Food for Life Partnership Mark and are working towards the Silver, which AiP can help us achieve through their food sourcing.
"Since changing to AiP, school meals take up has risen tremendously and is having a huge impact on concentration and the quality of work the children do in the afternoon lessons."
