Alliance in Partnership wins Coventry contracts worth £400,000
Education caterer Alliance in Partnership (AiP) has secured more than £400,000 worth of contracts in four ‘cluster' primary schools across Coventry.
It will now provide meals at Manor Park Primary School, Stivichall Primary School, Finham Primary School and Howes Community Primary School, which were previously managed by Coventry Council Catering.
The council has pulled out of school meals provision, enabling schools across the city to choose to swap to another local authority school meals service or outsource to contract caterers.
AiP will provide freshly made locally sourced food as well as more home-made dishes.
Children will have an increased number of meal choices and will be instantly able to rate their lunches with ‘rate my meal boards' displayed in each dining area.
The caterer will also support schools with their gardening clubs to help demonstrate to children the importance of the farm to fork chain.
