Ampersand Events promotes new events creative director after series of contract wins
Events group Ampersand Events has promoted Natalie Mainwaring to events creative director after a series of contracts wins.
In her new role, Mainwaring will be the "creative force" behind the brand, while Peter Martin will take responsibility for its operational management.
Mainwaring commented: "I'm thrilled! This is great honour and an exciting challenge which plays to my creativity and love for great events. The last two years have been more successful than we could have imagined and now we are taking the opportunity to make sure the next two are just as exciting."
The new direction for the business comes after sales rose by 150% in the past 12 months, following wins for Middle Temple and Westminster Abbey, The London Transport Museum, The Natural History Museum, The Science Museum, The Museum of London, Wakehurst Place and The Cutty Sark.
The company also caters for London-based sites including Chiswick House, Trinity House, Kensington Palace and Kew Palace.
Ampersand is owned by catering group CH&Co, which employs almost 2,500 people nationwide.
