Appeal for missing chef Jonny Rothfield

Appeal for missing chef Jonny Rothfield

An urgent appeal has been made to track down a Restaurant Associates chef who has been missing since Monday.

Jonny Rothfield, who is a senior sous chef at the caterer's KPMG contract at Canary Wharf, was last seen leaving his home in East London at around 5am on Monday morning.

His girlfriend, Emma Alter, launched an emotional appeal over his whereabouts on her Facebook page. She said that Rothfield had gone missing without his key or phone, which she described as completely out of character.

"He was wearing blue jeans, black boots, don't know what shirt and possibly a hoodie. I was asleep when he left," she added.

Alter has also worked with missingpeople.org.uk to create a poster and is calling on her local community to print and display it in the area.

A spokesperson for Restaurant Associates said: "Jonny is a talented chef and a valued and popular member of our team. We hope that Jonny is found safe and well and our thoughts go out to his friends and family at this time."

Anyone who might have information regarding Rothfield is urged to contact Missing Persons on 116 000 or call police on 101.
