Aramark sees 5.7% increase in turnover

Aramark Limited, the England, Scotland and Wales arm of global foodservice giant Aramark, saw its annual turnover increase 5.7% to £319.7m for the 12 months to 3 October 2014.

The company's directors' report for its 2014 accounts said it saw net new business revenue growth of £8.6m having secured a number of new contract wins during the year - particularly in the offshore oil sector.

The report said this was supplemented by strong revenue performance from the remainder of the UK business which delivered £8.7m of revenue growth through expansion of services with existing clients.

The company said it is: "investing in new technology at both the client site and back office levels to further enhance the everyday experience of customers and clients."

The previous year's financial report showed the company saw a sharp fall in its turnover and profit.

For the 12 months to 27 September 2013 the firm's annual turnover fell by 12% to £308.5m.
