Aramark wins £4m university deal from Sodexo
Aramark has scored top marks with a new £4m multi-services contract at the University of Bedfordshire.
The three-year deal, with scope to extend or a further two, began in April when Aramark took over from the previous provider Sodexo.
Operating across two campuses, in Bedford and Luton, Aramark will provide a food court, Costa coffee outlets, summer school services, hospitality and vending at each site.
The contract is the latest in a string of higher education wins for Aramark, following new business with the University of Westminster and the University of Worcester.
Tracey Smith (pictured), Aramark's business development director for education, said: "Our approach to higher education is simple, but effective.
"Ultimately, we provide superb facilities which give our university clients some great selling points as they compete to attract prospective students."
Established in 2006, the University of Bedfordshire has more than 24,000 students across its five campuses.
