Aspens secures five-year contract with Birmingham school

Contract catering solutions company, Aspens, has signed a five-year contract with Bishop Vesey's Grammar School in Birmingham.

Aspens beat three other tenders to win the contract, which is worth £1.7m.

Bishop Vesey's has recently embarked on a new building project in order to increase the number of students on roll.

Aspens are aiming to offer innovative and new food service outlets and offerings to meet the needs of students.

The contract can be extended at the end of the term by a one-year period, and will be on a guaranteed performance basis.

Aspens declined to comment.
