Aspire Hospitality wins multimillion-pound Towcester racecourse deal
Aspire Hospitality Group has won a multimillion-pound deal to provide catering and hospitality services at Towcester racecourse in Northamptonshire.
The three-year deal worth around £1m in annual turnover will see Aspire providing 1,000 hospitality covers per race-meeting in two main restaurants in the Empress and Grace stands.
Aspire will also look after Towcester's 10 private hospitality boxes including the private box for current owner Lord Heskith as well.
Public attendance on race days averages 6,000. Non race day activity includes conference and banqueting events for up to 300, weddings and Christmas parties for 1,000 per night in a marquee in the grounds through December.
The public operation at the course will be provided by mobile catering operator Stephen Freeman.
Chris Palmer, chief executive of Towcester, said: "We are delighted that Aspire will be working alongside us to underwrite the quality of cuisine and calibre of service that are integral to the Towcester experience."
Aspire also runs hospitality and catering services at Silverstone racing circuit host of the British F1 Grand Prix in 2008, also in Northamptonshire.
