Aston Villa wins six trophies at Official Football Hospitality Awards
Aston Villa Football Club was the big winner at this year's Official Football Hospitality Awards, netting six awards including the 2012 Overall Match-day Hospitality Experience title.
The in-house catering team at Villa Park took home top prizes in three other categories: Chef Team of the Year, the Green Award and Match-day Hospitality Experience in the Premier League.
Aston Villa also scooped silver for the Media Choice Award and bronze for Conference & Events Sales & Marketing, building on the club's success at last year's ceremony, when it took home five awards.
The awards, which took place last week at the American Express Community stadium - home to Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club - are now in their eighth year and recognise the efforts shown by the catering, conference and events teams at every UK football club.
Each club that took part in the awards was independently visited by a professional catering judge from Salon Culinaire over a period of six months and marked on criteria including service efficiency, food quality and venue standards.
