Autograph signs four-year catering deal with Department for Children
Contract caterer Autograph has won a four-year contract worth £9 million in total turnover to feed staff at the Department for Children, School and Families (DCSF).
Under the deal, Autograph will provide a full range of catering services including operating and managing the on-site restaurant at the London office for 2,000 employees. This includes a deli bar and coffee shop, as well as providing hospitality, private VIP dining and vending services onsite.
All day-restaurant and deli bar services will also be provided at the DCSF's sites in Darlington, Sheffield and Runcorn, which each have between 450 and 1,000 employees. Around 45 members from existing contractors will move to Autograph under TUPE regulations.
Bobby McLean at the DCSF said: "We were impressed with their Autograph's] personal approach combined with their wide-range of industry expertise that made them an ideal fit as our catering partner."
Paul Daly, managing director at Autograph said: "Our priority is to provide a catering solution that offers high quality, competitively-priced food to all DCSF employees throughout the day, whilst also delivering a range of hospitality services."
