Avenance wins £5m catering contract at Swansea's Singleton hospital
Elior's Avenance Healthcare division has been awarded a £5m contract to provide catering at Swansea's Singleton Hospital.
The ten-year deal is for a commercial outlet serving visitors, staff and patients looking for an alternative offering from the hospital's own catering service.
Catherine Roe, Elior UK managing director of contracts, said: "We were awarded the contract due to the quality of our offer and for clearly matching the requirements of staff, patients, visitors and the hospital.
"This is a very significant achievement for our Healthcare Division as it heralds our acceptance as a serious contender in this competitive market."
The catering outlet will serve breakfasts, soups, main meals and will also feature a Deli, Grab and Go section, jacket potato bar and a Costa coffee bar. The service will be available seven days a week.
Elior Avenance has a number of existing contracts in South Wales including Admiral Insurance and the DVLA.
