Baity Kitchen restaurant to launch private catering service

Chelsea restaurant Baity Kitchen has announced plans to launch a new private catering service next month.

Run by chef Joudie Kalla-Anagnou, who trained at Gordon Ramsay's Pengelley's, Daphne's and Papillon, the restaurant opened in December last year.

Baity Kitchen, which means "my home kitchen" in Arabic, serves Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. The new catering service will be available for up to 250 guests with bespoke menus for each client.

Examples of dishes that will be available include manoushe, a traditional Lebanese breakfast with minced lamb, tahini, pomegranate and spices; and sayyadiyeh, a Palestinian cumin rice and fish dish served with a tahini, lemon and parsley sauce.
