Boutique caterer Bartlett Mitchell has announced its appointment of Marie Connor as operations director.

In her new role, Connor will focus on the development of Bartlett Mitchell's new major client growth strategies.

Francois Gautreaux, deputy managing director of Bartlett Mitchell, said: "Marie's in-depth knowledge and experience of so many sectors of the competitive London market make her an invaluable new member of our team."

Connor, originally from Ireland, has previously worked throughout Europe and Australia before settling in London, where she recently worked in senior operations and sales roles in foodservice. She will be joining Bartlett Mitchell's team of more than 500 people to work across more than 75 sites.

Commenting one her new appointment, Connor said: "I've been really impressed with what I've seen since joining the company. I'm very involved in fundraising and corporate social responsibility (CSR) was an important element for me when choosing a new company to work for and I've been really pleased to see such a strong commitment to CSR and sustainability at Bartlett Mitchell.

"We have a strong group of managers in place and I'm keen to get on with building a close knit team and achieving some great results."
