Bartlett Mitchell has appointed Lin Dickens to the new role of sales & marketing director.
Dickens joined the boutique contract caterer as marketing director a year ago and following a recent management structure review, it was decided to combine the previously separate director roles for sales and marketing.
"Marketing is all about understanding, anticipating and meeting customers' needs and conveying the value of a company's service," explained Dickens. "Bringing business development and marketing under one umbrella allows me to use my expertise and influence in both areas to make Bartlett Mitchell even more successful. I'm very excited about this opportunity; we have an amazing team and an outstanding company to sell."
Wendy Bartlett, managing director, added: "Lin has worked with Bartlett Mitchell over many years, initially when she had her own award-winning design and marketing agency and latterly as our marketing director.
"She really understands food and the business we are in so combined with her sales and marketing skills, she will make a big difference. We have a lot of opportunities in the pipeline and Lin's leadership in the vital area of sales and marketing will help us convert more of these opportunities into sales growth."
Dickens was recently awarded a post-graduate diploma in digital marketing and is a past judge for design awards D & AD. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
