BaxterStorey appoints Christian Pauritsch as operations director, South-west
Independent contract caterer BaxterStorey has appointed Christian Pauritsch to the role of operations director, South-west.
Pauritsch, who has 23 years of catering and hospitality experience, will be responsible for enhancing BaxterStorey's business in the South-west of England, overseeing approximately 30 client contracts.
His most recent role was executive director for an artisan food and wine shop in Ireland. Pauritsch set up the business, offering freshly prepared and locally sourced produce, and in five years built it to a turnover of €1m.
Prior to that, Pauritsch worked as director for PL Solutions, where he set up a consultancy and advisory service for the food and catering industry. He has also held senior positions with Kylemore Restaurant Division, where he managed a turnover of €28m, and Campbell Catering.
Commenting on his appointment, Pauritsch said: "With BaxterStorey's success in delivering fantastic seasonal food, along with a responsive, personal service to its clients, I am confident of the opportunities to strengthen the business in the South-west region and I am looking forward to playing my part in making that happen."
Noel Mahony, chief executive of BaxterStorey, added: "Christian is a results-driven individual and will bring extensive experience and knowledge of the catering industry to the position, which will be incredibly valuable as we develop BaxterStorey's regional business in 2012."
Pauritsch will report to Sarah Miller, BaxterStorey's recently appointed regional managing director.
