BaxterStorey scoops £12m catering deal with BlackRock
BaxterStorey has scored a £12m catering contract win with asset management firm BlackRock.
The five-year deal at the firm's Drapers Gardens office in London will see BaxterStorey deliver a host of catering services for around 1,800 BlackRock employees, including a new staff dining restaurant, vending services and a Starbucks coffee offer - the caterer's first franchise with the coffee chain.
As well as hospitality services, which will be provided over three floors serving up to 1,600 covers a day, BaxterStorey will be responsible for corporate hospitality and a retail shop.
Commenting on the contract win, BaxterStorey chief executive Noel Mahony (pictured) said: "In these austere times it is critical for BaxterStorey to help our clients to get a return on their investment in catering.
"We believe that our ability to deliver high-quality and innovative food, that's freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients, is why BaxterStorey can fiercely compete with retailers for a large share of customer spend."
