BaxterStorey secures Sunseeker contract

BaxterStorey has won a contract, for an undisclosed sum, with luxury yacht manufacturer Sunseeker, which has headquarters in Poole, Dorset.

The caterer will have 11 staff working at Sunseeker providing hospitality and restaurant services across four locations for more than 2,000 employees.

Sunseeker chose BaxterStorey after being impressed with the firm's commitment to local suppliers and innovative approach to menu creation.

John Bennett, co-chief executive at BaxterStorey, said: "Our business is built on the foundation of fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce. Our chefs and food development teams work closely with customers and selected suppliers to provide fresh, nutritious food to surprise and delight staff.

Matthew Farr, facilities manager at Sunseeker, added: "Located in the heart of Poole Harbour, we are surrounded by some of the UK's best fresh produce so this is an ideal base for creating great food.

"Many of our staff are on their feet all day so it is important that we offer them fulfilling, healthy choices. We were particularly attracted to BaxterStorey's product innovation and variety - an approach that shone through from the start."
