BaxterStorey wins number of contracts worth £3.5m
BaxterStorey has announced a series of contract wins in the North of England and Scotland, with an overall value of £3.5m.
Since the start of the year, the contract caterer has picked up catering deals at employers in the two regions, including Deutsche Bank, logistics firm Gist, Radio Clyde and pharmaceutical services company Quintiles.
The wins follow the appointment of Jeremy Wood as regional managing director and former Compass executive Richard Flynn as sales director last year, who have been tasked with spearheading the company's growth in the North of England and Scotland.
At the same time the company opened a new office in Morley, Yorkshire. Within six months, BaxterStorey has seen its presence in the North and Scotland increase by 15%.
John Bennett, managing director of BaxterStorey, said "Our focus on building our capability and strengthening our presence outside of the South of the UK is gaining huge momentum.
"The North and Scotland are home to many of the UK's best businesses who truly care about providing their teams with the best possible food services whilst at work. We've structured our operation to ensure we deliver on our fantastic food, brilliant service promise across the territory and we're delighted with the response."
