Bennett Hay launches facilities management concept
New kid on the block Bennett Hay has launched a new facilities management concept designed to consolidate costs in the wake of the UK's challenging financial climate.
Taking a five-star ethos from the hotel to the workplace, Bennett Hay says its Hotel FM will streamline operations and improve customer service delivery at a time when UK businesses are seeking to shrink their facilities management budgets.
It will deliver hotel-style support services where clients are looking to combine two or more complementary services, to create an enhanced package and cost efficiencies. These include reception, telephony, staff catering, fine dining, events, mailroom, reprographics, porterage, housekeeping and concierge.
The concept follows research done by Bennett Hay, which found that 83% of companies polled favour a single facilities management cost, rather than implanting several services into the workplace.
The company was launched in September by Anthony Bennett and Robin Hay, former directors at FM firm Mitie, to exploit a niche for catering and facilities management services at medium-sized companies.
Anthony Bennett, director at Bennett Hay, said: "Hotel FM allows companies to simplify their outgoings and renew their focus on the core of their business, rather than managing their workplace.
"We formed Bennett Hay using the principles of service instilled by the world's leading hoteliers and through rigorous training and recruitment processes we can guarantee a truly five-star service."
