Blue Apple wins new contracts with JP Kenny and BMW
Blue Apple Catering has announced new contracts with JP Kenny and a BMW dealership, hot on the heels of its success at Help for Heroes.
The three-year deal at the Staines offices of JP Kenny, the global pipeline and subsea engineering contractor, is worth around £400,000 in total.
Blue Apple will operate a full restaurant, separate barista coffee lounge and hospitality services for the site's 200 employees, rising to 400 when some BP staff relocate there over the summer.
The new £8.5m Elms BMW dealership in Cambridge has enlisted the caterer to provide staff feeding for 150 employees. Blue Apple will also operate the showroom café and meeting room hospitality service available to dealership customers.
Blue Apple has been steadily carving a position into a niche market and this one-year contract, worth £200,000, is described as similar to two other car dealership operations already run by Blue Apple: Mercedes-Benz sites on Edgware Road and in Brentford.
Jane Greenwood, operations director for Blue Apple, said: "Elms BMW is setting the standard for all new dealerships in the UK.
"As well as the staff catering we will be providing a high quality hospitality service which will be available to BMW customers who will have access to a suite of meeting rooms."
Help for Heroes awarded a three-year contract worth £1.1m to Blue Apple following a cook-off against rival caterer BaxterStorey, it was announced this week.
