Brakes Group takes Foie Gras off the menu

Brakes Group has confirmed that once its remaining stock of foie gras has been depleted it will no longer offer the food product as part of its range.

A Brakes spokesperson confirmed: "We are totally committed to removing foie gras from our range of own brand products in the UK as part of our company's corporate, social and environmental responsibilities" and have been involved in positive conversations with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
