Bright Futures Group acquires Yes Dining
Bright Futures Group (BFG) has bought South of England based Yes Dining in an all-shares deal worth £237,000.
Yes Dining was founded in 1999 and looks after local authority and business and industry clients, including the London Borough of Hillingdon. It is seen by BFG as a complement to its Restaurants at Work and Jill Bartlett & Company operations.
As part of the deal BFG bought £197,700-worth of shares, in exchange for the issue of new shares in BFG. The deal means that Yes Dining's previous owner, Castle View International Holdings, now owns 26.26% of the enlarged share capital of BFG.
BFG chief executive Tjalke Boersma said the new addition to the group strengthened its UK presence.
"We are constantly exploring opportunities to bring experienced, well-run catering operators into our group to increase the strength of the company and our presence across the UK," he said.
"Yes Dining fits into this model perfectly. The company has a strong reputation and high-profile clients and we believe the firm will benefit greatly from being brought into the group and our ever-growing support network."
Bright Futures Group, which has its headquarters at Epsom in Surrey, operates throughout the UK with clients including Hewitt Associates, Dairy Crest and NSPCC.
