Brighton & Hove City Council: Provision of catering services
Brighton & Hove City Council invites expressions of interests from suitably experienced organisations for the following contract due to commence 3 June 2008:
The Hove Centre at Hove Town Hall
To provide a total catering service including purchasing, management, food preparation, service delivery and menu design for all aspects of catering and bar management within the Hove Centre.
The Hove Centre is the Brighton Centres sister venue; offering meeting, conference and concert facilities, situated 1 mile to the west of the city centre 400 metres from the seafront. A full programme of events until the end of 2009 will ensure that the venue remains key to the business and leisure tourism market. With a current gross turnover of around £250,000 per annum, and the potential to expand, the catering operation remains an important factor to the success of the building.
We are looking for a company that can work in partnership with the Council to develop this service to its full potential. The contract will be for an initial 5 years with the option for the Council to extend for a further 2 years.
Organisations who can offer a high quality service in line with the above requirements and who have successfully operated similar contracts are invited to register their interests in the above contracts by completing our Pre-qualification questionnaire.
