Care home in Lincolnshire to deliver hotel-style hospitality
A new care home opening in Lincolnshire next month will offer its residents a hotel-style level of service, with Elior managing the hospitality side of the business.
Rose Lodge in Market Deeping has been purpose-built and consists of 31-en suite bedrooms over two floors. The lower floor will feature an orangery overlooking landscaped gardens.
Russell Yarston, group operations manager at Elior, said: "At Rose Lodge we're striving to offer a very high standard of hospitality, more akin to a hotel than a care home. Front of house staff will offer visitors afternoon tea and barista-served coffee, plus a slice of cake in the orangery. At Elior we believe that the whole experience matters."
In the evenings residents will be offered a choice of different menus for a fine-dining experience which can also be enjoyed with guests.
Yarston added: "Unusually for a care environment, this shared fine-dining experience will help lend the dining room the ambience of a comfortable yet elegant restaurant."
Rose Lodge will be run by care service provider Country Court Care. An open day will be held on 10 September from 2pm to 5pm.
Visitors will have the opportunity to taste the food residents will be served. Sample food from the menu will be showcased, along with the new glassware, cutlery and crockery to be used in the restaurant.
