Caterer ABM picks up London college deal

Independent caterer ABM has signed a three-year deal worth almost £1m in total turnover to provide services at Heythrop College in London's Kensington Square.

Heythrop College is the specialist philosophy and theology college of the University of London.

From January, ABM will operate the central restaurant at the site and introduce a Costa coffee-bar for 900 students.

The contract, previously run by Compass's Baxter & Platts, also includes internal and corporate hospitality.

ABM has also won a deal worth more than £800,000 in total annual turnover over three-years to caterer for 2,000 students at Bingley Grammar School in West Yorkshire.

Sue Johnson, managing director of ABM, said: "We are delighted to have been awarded these important contracts and look forward to developing exciting and innovative catering at each site."
