Caterer OJ's wins contracts worth £7m in Stockton and Chelmsford
Sports and leisure caterer OJ's has won two catering contracts worth almost £7m in total.
The Sussex-based caterer has been awarded a contract of around 10 years to operate at the recently redeveloped Billingham Forum in Stockton-on-Tees, with a review after five years.
The leisure centre is scheduled to reopen at the start of June, following a major £18.5m refurbishment project that included a new central café and catering and function room.
The family-run caterer will operate the various outlets within the forum as well as cater for children's parties, conferences and events for the centre's 800,000 annual visitors.
OJ's has also won a five-year catering and vending deal at the Riverside Ice and Leisure Centre in Chelmsford, Essex, worth about £1.75m in total.
Julian Davis Smith, managing director of OJ's, said: "We very much look forward to serving our home-made food, Fairtrade coffees, fresh juice, smoothies and milkshakes to the local community and destination visitors to both of the leisure centres."
OJ's, which currently runs 11 catering and vending contracts in London and the South, is recruiting 12 employees at the venue.
