Reflecting the tremendous growth of the Internet as a tool for business, the Caterersearch.com Web Awards honour the best websites in hospitality across 12 categories.

The awards will recognise the best websites in the industry and reward the organisations and individuals involved in designing, managing, marketing or promoting them.

Websites will be judged on criteria including visual design, innovation, content, interactivity, ease of use, commercial success or potential and overall user experience. The awards will be presented at a ceremony in the autumn.

4. Hotel website - group
5. Foodservice website
6. Pub or Bar website
7. Equipment Supplier website
8. Food or Drink Supplier website
9. Recruitment website
10. Digital marketing campaign
11. Innovation/Interactive Feature
12. Site of the Year*

\* The Site of the Year will be voted for by the panel of Judges and the 250,000 users and readers of Caterersearch.com and Caterer and Hotelkeeper.

Who can enter?
The awards are open to all organisations and individuals involved in designing, managing, maintaining, marketing or promoting websites for food and hospitality-related businesses.

Websites submitting an entry must have been live and in general use for at least part of the calendar year preceding the awards. They do not, however, need to have been created this year.

There's no limit to the number of categories that you may enter.
Acknowledgement of entries: Entrants will receive an email acknowledgement when an entry has been received.

There is a £95 administration charge for each entry (per category).

Judging criteria Sites are selected for recognition based on excellence in the following criteria (but not limited to)

  • visual design
  • innovation
  • content
  • interactivity
  • ease of use
  • commercial potential/success
  • overall experience

The judging panel will be made up of web specialists and industry operators. Judges will not be allowed to vote in any categories which cover their main category of business, or where their company or business partners have entered.

What makes the Caterersearch.com Web Awards special? It's the first web awards for the food and hospitality community. We believe it is important to recognize and reward the people and organisations responsible for developing some of the most effective and best food and hospitality websites on the Internet today. Winning a Caterersearch.com Web Award is also a marketing opportunity for the award winning website.

Via Caterersearch.com and Caterer and Hotelkeeper, nominees, winners and sponsors are placed in the spotlight before the biggest community of hospitality professionals - some 250,000 of their peers.
