Catering Academy takes to the road

Catering Academy](http://www.catering-academy.co.uk/) is to launch a series of roadshows in a bid to better communicate business strategy with its employees.

Following six years in business, the founder directors of Catering Academy said they wanted to set out a plan for the company going forward that involved its team members.

The roadshows, named PRIDE (Personally Responsible In Delivering Excellence) will take place throughout November and December across six regions in the UK and will include two representatives from each of Catering Academy's national contract sites.

Founder director Louise Wymer said: "With such a large and widespread team it's important for the directors to keep a direct channel of communication with the staff to ensure consistency with our service and our ethos of "personally delivering excellence."

"Our staff have always been instrumental to our commercial success and with such a reputable growth rate we feel it's time to re-emphasise the commitment to our team and bring them up to date with our plans for 2011."

Prior to the roadshows, a number of identity and planning days were held with a cross section of company employees, with the aim of developing Catering Academy's strategy for the future. Feedback from these sessions has been used to shape the structure of the roadshows.

The six sessions will include an overview of Catering Academy's history, ethos and values, the importance of performance, communication and personal responsibility and implementing PRIDE into a team.

The comments and feedback from each seminar will be incorporated into the company's strategy for 2011 and will go live across all contract sites from January.
