Catering Academy wins South Staffordshire Council contract
Independent contract catering company Catering Academy has won a three-year contract with South Staffordshire Council worth just over £297,500.
The firm has held the catering contract with the council for the last six years and managed to retain it following a competitive tender process which included five other providers.
The new contract started at the beginning of this year and will see Catering Academy serve 300 staff and visitors each day from an on-site restaurant and café bar.
Louise Wymer (pictured), founder director of Catering Academy, said: "Securing new contracts is always a great achievement, however retaining existing clients and continuing with established working relationships truly represents why the ethos of our company is pivotal to everything we do.
"We've worked collaboratively with South Staffordshire Council over the last six years to build a culture that centres on an unrivalled enthusiasm for the delivery of an improved food service offering; including high quality produce, a skilled and passionate team and an overall commitment to bettering the catering experience. We're delighted to have retained the contract for the next three years and look forward to building on this already successful relationship."
Catering Academy, which was formed in 2004, also provides catering to clients including Cheshire Police HQ, the University of Bolton, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, the Studio Venue Company, William Brookes School and Adams' Grammar School.
