Workplace caterer Catermasters has created a smartphone app designed to enhance customer experience and provide a platform for giving feedback about its service and food quality.
Set to launch at the beginning of November, the app, which Catermasters claims is the first of its kind, will allow customers to place advance sandwich orders, view weekly and daily menus, receive updates about promotions, collect electronic loyalty points and rate the food and service.
"Smartphone technology is commonplace these days, so by developing our own app we feel we can take our customer interaction to a new level and give our customers all the information they may be looking for in a way that suits their needs and lifestyle," said Catermasters joint managing director Tony Carr.
"We will still continue with our traditional customer facing communication and marketing strategies but the app is another tool to help us understand what people want and how we can improve our service even further."
