Caterplus signs deal with social housing firm Riverside ECHG

Foodservice company Caterplus has signed a new contract with social housing provider Riverside ECHG, worth £350,000.

The new year-long rolling contract sees the company take over from the in-house catering operation, to serve residents breakfast, lunch and dinner, which will be prepared on-site every day, and are designed to be nutritionally balanced.

The contact extends to four sites in London, Gloucester and Hull.

Managing director of Caterplus, Paul Robottom, said: "We're looking forward to bringing our experience to the kitchens of a new client and providing a great service to residents."

Caterplus specialises in catering for the senior living, care and welfare sector.

Its most recent contract signings include a £475,000 deal with Peverel Retirement; a joint £25m deal with Elior UK for housing provider Hanover; and a £15m contract at the Dreywood Court retirement community development in East London.
