Catey winners Jason Atherton and John Vincent join stellar Foodservice Forum line-up
Jason Atherton, John Vincent and Alberto Crisci are among a stellar, Catey-winning line-up confirmed for the forthcoming Foodservice Forum in March.
Also in the spotlight will be The Caterer's 2014 Outstanding Contribution Foodservice Catey winner John Vincent, who will be speaking about his restaurant group Leon, the School Food Plan and what's next on his agenda.
With people such a crucial element of a hospitality operation, the Forum will examine the barriers to recruitment, such as sexism, ageism and employing ex-offenders and explore the opportunities that a lateral approach to sourcing staff can present.
Alberto Crisci, winner of the 2011 Education and Training Catey award and founder/trustee of the Clink Charity, will be on-hand to discuss this issue on a panel chaired by event partner Cartwheel Recruitment's managing director Hannah Horler.
Metropolitan Police chief superintendent Adrian Usher, the man responsible for co-ordinating the security of one of the UK's biggest and most challenging projects - the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, has joined the agenda.
He will share insight into the myriad ways the relay was a roaring success, which included high-profile athletes and celebrities such as Sir Chris Hoy, Torvill & Dean, and David Beckham, in terms of not just security but also firing up the team spirit of the nation.
In addition, Amelia Boothman, director of strategy - insight, at brand agency 1HQ will talk delegates through the subconscious cultural drivers that can translate into effective emotional hooks to drive brand growth.
The Foodservice Forum, sponsored by Mars Foodservice, is dedicated to the first-class movers and shakers of the UK foodservice industry. It will return to Kings Place in London on Friday 20 March 2015. The morning event will conclude with a sumptuous buffet lunch provided by our host Green & Fortune before attendees are invited to catch up in the Rotunda bar in the afternoon for relaxed networking opportunities.
