Charlton House wins Allianz Insurance deal

Contract caterer Charlton House has won a deal to feed 1,200 staff at Allianz Insurance from rival Aramark.

The £800,000 annual turnover deal sees Charlton House providing restaurant, deli bar, coffee shop and hospitality services to 900 staff in Guildford, Surrey.

The caterer is also running a staff restaurant, hospitality and fine-dining services for 300 staff at Allianz's London office at Leadenhall Street.

Alison Tyler, joint managing director at Charlton House, said: "As one of the largest insurers in the UK, Allianz wanted the best possible food and service for their staff.

"Environmental issues featured strongly throughout the tender process and we were able to demonstrate that we have the experience, passions and expertise to minimise environmental impact across both catering operations."
