CH&Co is named UK Ruban d'Honneur recipient
CH&Co has been named as the UK Ruban d'Honneur - a prestigious award which sees it put forward as a contender for a top prize at the European Business Awards later this year.
The independent caterer was awarded the title in the RSM International Entrepreneur of the Year Award category in the 2011 European Business Awards, sponsored by HSBC.
Tim Jones, chairman of CH&Co, said: "It is a great honour to be recognised in this way, particularly from the international business community. This year marks the 20th anniversary of our business, which has been an incredible year to date with some major contract gains."
Tim and Robyn Jones, co-founders of CH&Co, will now compete with nine other European winners for the ultimate prize of a European Business Award, which will be announced in Barcelona on 22 November.
CH&Co employs almost 2,000 people nationwide in B&I sites and iconic venues under six specialist brands: Charlton House, Lusso, Chester Boyd, It's the Agency, Ampersand and Via 360. Current turnover is £75m, but this is expected to rise to £90m by 2013.
