Chesterfield Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced catering companies to manage and operate the catering facilities at the new Staveley Healthy Living Centre, which will open in February / March 2008. The Staveley Healthy Living Centre is an £8million flagship development for the Council serving Chesterfield and the wider communities of Sheffield, North Nottinghamshire & North East Derbyshire. The centre will cover 3502 square metres with anticipated visitor numbers of 400,000 per annum.

The centre consist of 25m swimming pool with adjustable floor, indoor climbing wall, bouldering room, themed soft play arena , 130/150 station fitness suite, dance studios, spa, beauty therapy, meeting room, crèche and catering outlet with outside terrace.

The closing date for requesting the invitation to tender document is 10th September 2007.

Interested parties will be required to submit their tender by no later than noon on the 20th September 2007.

Following tender evaluation, shortlisted companies may be invited for interview and to visit Staveley Healthy Living Centre.
