City caterer Vacherin appoints new operations manager

London contract caterer Vacherin has appointed Tom Rule as operations manager.

Rule joins the company from Compass Group, where he was general manager and operational support manager for M&S In-Store for the past three years.

Prior to this he worked in the company's executive dining business, Restaurant Associates.

Mark Philpott, owner and managing director of Vacherin, said: "Tom brings to Vacherin a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both staff and executive dining, as well as exceptional commercial experience in a high-volume retail environment.

"We look forward to harnessing this for the benefit of our clients and our teams. Tom possesses the passion for food and service that epitomises Vacherin and we wholeheartedly welcome him into the team."

Rule joins Vacherin's head office team, where he will support unit-based teams to deliver food and service solutions to customers and clients.
