Nick Vadis, Compass Group UK & Ireland's culinary director, said: "I am extremely proud of all of our chefs that took part in the competition. The Salon Culinaire provided our chefs with an opportunity to demonstrate the breadth of talent and skills being developed within our business."
Robert Kennedy, executive chef at ESS, said: "I'm so pleased that the ESS team came away with some great awards at the Great Hospitality Show and it was amazing to see the three chefs from my team winning four of the overall end of show awards. The competition gives an opportunity to show the passion that we put into our day-to-day work and it is brilliant to have so many chefs from across the industry come together to showcase their talent and skills."
