The caterer, which was founded in 1997 and focuses on business and industry, has picked up deals at financial services firm Northern Trust and television and film editing system manufacturer Quantel as well as a contract for another client that did not wish to be named, but employs thousands of staff in Kent and Essex.
The Northern Trust deal is a three-year contract, formerly run by BaxterStorey, Quantel is a two-year deal picked up from Elior's Avenance division, while the third company is a two-year contract previously run by ABM.
At Northern Trust, which employs 2,000 staff, Talkington Bates has committed to providing a range of environmentally friendly disposables and a roaming hand held pay device to help cut queues at busy times.
Finnbarr Murray, head of corporate services at Northern Trust, said: "We appointed Talkington Bates following a re-tendering process and chose it primarily because its culture fits so well with ours. Talkington Bates is committed to providing a flexible personalised service, tailored to suit our specific requirements."
