Cooks & Partners celebrates contract wins at summer party
Event caterer Cooks & Partners held a summer party last week to celebrate a 26% increase in event sales so far this year.
The firm welcomed guests to its offices in Fulham, west London, where the car park was transformed into a rugby-themed area ahead of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
Visitors walked through a turf-decorated tunnel to a small pitch where they were presented with a rugby goalpost forming the frame for the main bar.
Food included yakitori seared tuna, smoked haddock Scotch eggs and spiced vegan burgers, as well as a variety of desserts.
Cooks & Partners recently secured contracts with the View from the Shard, the October Gallery in Holborn and the Orangery at Holland Park, in London.
The contracts will be renewed annually and are estimated to be worth £60,000, £36,000 and £51,200 respectively this year.
Previously the company's growth mainly came from recommendations and repeat business but it now aims to generate new business following a team expansion.
Natalie Boast has been appointed as the new events manager while Florence Midwood has taken on the role of head of events and business development.
Cooks & Partners provides event management with live on-site cooking from canapé receptions to seven-course seated dinners including conference meetings, award ceremonies and weddings.
The summer party took place on 14 September and was co-hosted by event lighting and production company Light Motif.
Suppliers included Wow Grass, Wild About Flowers, Just Pose, DJ AJ Odudu and Matt Chung photography.
Cooks & Partners, which is privately owned by Simon Goggin, was established in 1997.
