Crown Group's Venue Reservations launches apprenticeship scheme

Venue Reservations, the Crown Group's free venue-finding and events planning service, has launched a new apprenticeship scheme.

Aimed at providing young people with the opportunity to gain corporate, sales and event planning experience, the structured programme has been rolled out following the success of a similar scheme at sister-business Piggotts.

Eden Quinn (right) and Chloe Scripps (left) have been named as the first apprentices to join the Venue Reservations team in its London office for one year while simultaneously studying for customer service and sales and telesales NVQs.

Nicky Pratt, the Crown Group's customer services director, said the company was dedicated to developing talent.

Eden Quinn, welcomed the opportunity: "Being able to spend time in various departments will give me a huge insight into the skills that are needed to develop my career here at Venue Reservations."
