School foodservice company Cucina has signed a new £1.2m, five-year contract with Goffs School in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

The secondary school has 1,300 pupils aged 11 to 19.

Managing director of Cucina Steve Quinn said that the new contract was part of the company's overall expansion plans. He said: "This new contract brings our total restaurant numbers to 42. Our company continues to grow at an ideal rate, allowing us to maintain our excellent standard of food and service across the UK."

Some of the company's most recent contract win announcements include a five-year £2.6m deal with Haydon School in Middlesex in June, and two new wins in April for Chislehurst & Sidcup Grammar, and St Catherine's Catholic College in Kent, worth a combined £3m.
