De Vere appoints top roles at Slaley Hall and Cameron House

De Vere Hotels and Resorts has announced the appointment of two new senior management roles.

Grant McKenzie has been named as the new general manager at Slaley Hall in Northumberland, while Andy Roger is set to become the new director of operations at Cameron House in the Scottish Highlands.

A former Acorn winner, McKenzie has previously held general manager roles at Malmaison hotels in Leeds and Manchester and will now be managing a team of over 250 staff. He said of the move: "Working with a great team to deliver great hospitality is what really motivates me."

Roger, whose previous roles includes stints at Malmaison Aberdeen and One Devonshire Gardens, will now be responsible for the 132-room hotel at Cameron House and its 500 strong team. "Building and developing a team has always given me a huge sense of satisfaction," he said.
