Deadline for the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2012 extended to 23 March
The deadline to get nominations in for the Craft Guild of Chefs Awards 2012 has been extended to 23 March.
Designed to recognise and reward the top talent working in kitchens across the industry, the 15 categories, plus a special award for an overall industry high-flyer, will be announced at a ceremony at Wembley Stadium on 13 June.
A brand new category has been added to the awards line-up for 2012 - the Armed Services Chef Award - because the Craft Guild of Chefs believes that feeding the country's military personnel is a demanding and varied occupation which deserves to be recognised.
Now in their 19th year, the awards cover all aspects of the chef profession, from education to pubs and cost sector to banqueting, and nominees do not have to be members of the guild.
Nominations can be downloaded or made online and entrants are asked to submit supporting material such as case histories, CVs and company profiles.
Tables of 10 or 12 are available at the event. A booking form can be downloaded and returned to guarantee a place.
