Design on show at Hospitality

Operators looking to start the new year with a fresh look will be able to glean ideas from the Design Showcase feature at Hospitality 2007, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, on 22-24 January.

The latest trends and innovations will be on show in an interiors, exteriors and tableware section, with the British Contract Furnishing Association pavilion taking centre stage among the 75 exhibitors.

GS magazine will host the showcase, which will feature hospitality concepts from two leading design companies. Scape Design Associates has designed the exterior, a courtyard garden, where visitors will be encouraged to relax and enjoy a glass of bubbly in the Champagne bar while the interior, built by United Designers, will show how a boutique hotel lobby can be used to fashion that all-important first impression.

There will be architects and designers on hand to discuss ideas with visitors.
