Dine caters at launch of FA's national training centre at St George's Park
Event caterer Dine was commissioned by Generate Events to cater at the launch of the new FA national training centre at St George's Park, Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire.
Dine delivered corporate catering services to more than 650 guests at the star-studded event, held last night.
With the brief to serve the equivalent of 100 canapés every minute for the duration, Dine served them on custom-made iPad trays, which displayed a video edited by the FA especially for the occasion.
Dine managing director Daniel Gill said: "An event of this size and scale meant that meticulous planning and project management was the key to success throughout the evening, and with close to 5,400 canapés served in under an hour, we were delighted with the final result."
Matt Hudson, managing director at Generate Events, added: "An event of this calibre needs a catering firm to fit the occasion, and Dine fit the bill perfectly.
"It was a tremendous honour for Generate Events to have been selected to work on such a prestigious event and it was fantastic to share the experience with Dine."
