Dine Contract Catering recognises high achievers
Dine Contract Catering has launched its first internal awards day in a bid to celebrate the achievements of its staff.
The event, hosted at the foodservice firm's Warrington head office, saw 50 awards given to employees from across the business.
The awards were introduced as part of the caterer's commitment to staff development, which is subject to "heavy" investment. As well as regular monthly training, more than 30% of its employees are currently working towards an NVQ qualification alongside personal career development paths.
Ian Cartwright, Dine's managing director, described the event as a proud day for the business, "not only for us as a management team, but also for all our team members who have worked so hard to achieve their awards".
He added: "Each individual has an important role to play in our success, which is why in order to innovate, improve and grow our business we invest in the people who can make that happen."
The company also used the awards to recognise members of its Apprentice Programme, which takes on 10 new members each year that also complete the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
