Dish joins list of caterers at Wakehurst Place

Event caterer Dish has been added to the list of preferred caterers at Wakehurst Place, an Elizabethan mansion house in West Sussex.

Nick James, director at Dish, said that one of the company's main objectives is to grow the number of venues at which it is listed.

"Wakehurst is a wonderful addition to our growing portfolio of Sussex-based venues," he said. "The period mansion house and grounds provide an incredible backdrop for events; we are very much looking forward to working at the venue."

Wakehurst Place accommodates private events, corporate away days and weddings in the main building, in a marquee on the croquet lawn and also the Millennium Seedbank, which houses an international seed bank to protect against the extinction of wild plant life.

Dish has recently retendered for preferred supplier status at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden; Banqueting House in Whitehall; and the Audi Quattro rooms in West London and Piccadilly. It was successful in retaining listings at all the London venues.
