Edwards & Blake opens staff restaurant at Hexcel Composites
East Anglian contract catering firm Edwards & Blake has opened a new staff restaurant and kitchen at Hexcel Composites in Duxford, Cambridgeshire.
The caterer worked closely with Hexcel to design and build the new facility, which caters for more than 550 staff.
Menus will feature a selection of hot and cold dishes including chili and ginger chicken and halloumi and red pepper burgers. Customers will also be able to choose from Edwards & Blake's own street food range of wraps, pasta pots, salads, home-made puddings and cakes.
Adrian Cooke, director of sales and operations, said: "We have collaborated closely with Hexcel not only to provide a high quality food offering that is personalised to its needs but also to provide a dining experience that will inspire and excite the customers. It has been an excellent relationship and we're all delighted with the result. We're looking forward to a continued close and ever-growing relationship based on our excellent food."
Tracey Turner, sourcing manager at Hexcel, added: "We are looking forward to working together to further increase the range of services supplied and continuing to build the hospitality offering at the Duxford site."
Edwards & Blake is also celebrating being named in the London Stock Exchange's ‘1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain' report, which was published yesterday (22 February).
To be included in the list, companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years.
The firm employs more than 600 staff and has a turnover of over £15m servicing clients primarily in East Anglia, the Midlands and the South East.
