Edwards & Blake reports record year
East Anglian-based contract catering firm Edwards & Blake has announced 2015 will be the highest grossing year in the company's 19-year history.
So far this year the firm has already won contracts with a combined full-term value of more than £7m.
By the end September, the caterers will have started working on 11 new contracts across East Anglia, the Midlands and the South East of England.
Contract wins include nine clients in the education sector, including the company's first Further Education College in Essex, and two business contracts with Domino Printing Sciences in Cambridge and Duxford-based Hexcel Composites, which is due to open later this year.
With these new contracts, Edwards & Blake now operates at more than 100 sites and anticipates securing further contracts before the end of 2015.
"These values have helped us to grow the business, to secure these new contracts and to make 2015 a landmark year for the company."
The company employs more than 600 staff and has a turnover of more than £15m.
