Edwards & Ward wins £1.8m Oxford schools catering deal

Contract caterer Edwards and Ward has won a £1.8m deal to cater for seven schools in Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

Edwards & Ward beat four other tenders to win the deal, which sees it provide food at seven schools within the Oxford Diocesan Schools Trust.

The Trust consists of 22 primary and secondary schools within the Oxford diocese area. While seven schools tendered for the provision of catering to begin with, others may be added to the contract in the future without the need for future tendering.

The deal lasts for five years with possibilities for two extensions of one year each.

Edwards & Ward was founded in 1999 by joint managing directors Mike Ward and Michael Edwards. The company is based in Crowborough, East Sussex.
